Tasting Notes

Pinot noir bouquet, red fruit (wild strawberries, redcurrants) combined with floral, spicy notes, liquorice and fresh pepper created by the whole stems. The nose is complex and deeply perfumed. Velvety-soft, delicate and delectable on entry to the palate. Intricate and sweet tannins. The ageing in oak is seamless and perfectly incorporated into a soft, delicate sweetness. The Champagne region's cool climate is apparent mid-palate, adding lightness and scented fragrances. This reinforces the impression of delicacy and freshness without diminishing the concentration and the silky tannic structure that lengthens the finish.

Tasting Notes

Yellow hue with clear, bright tints. Characteristic of Chardonnay on the nose in which subtle notes of flowers and white fruit are smoothly woven with wheat and roasted almonds. Its delicate nose is filled with promise and evolves into scents of white truffles after a few minutes in the glass. Chalky, saline and incredibly pure palate. Its gentle ripeness creates a delicate sensation of sweetness that subtly coats the palate. This is an exceptionally taut, pure and lively wine. The sappy, taut finish lingers thanks to the wine’s savory notes and slightly bitter, vegetal overtones reminiscent of fresh ginger.

Tasting Notes

Very fresh, precise and pure bouquet, with warm toasted notes of hay, wheat and dried nuts, concentrated juicy ripe fruit (melon, pear) and lightly honeyed floral notes. After aeration, we have a lovely bouquet of reductive aromas with spicy nuances.

Intense, concentrated and fresh on the palate with candied citrus fruit and a juicy, almost oily texture. Chalky and saline notes then follow and are underpinned by a lovely tannic structure. The finish has a mouth- watering texture with toasted notes that provide great aromatic length. The whole is vibrant, perfectly integrated, precise, powerful and fresh.

Tasting Notes

Aged between 3 and 4 years in Louis Roederer's cellars, Carte Blanche expresses itself with a rich, creamy texture that contrasts with its freshness. It unleashes a succession of delectable notes of cooked fruit, baked apple, white flowers, almond and frangipane. This lovely, well-balanced epicurean champagne is an instant hit!

Tasting Notes

The Collection 242 blend is dominated by Chardonnay which was of exceptional quality in the 2017 vintage. The perfectly ripe Chardonnay grapes lend the wine its aromas of ripe, sweet fruit complemented by subtle oaky notes. The palate is rich and ripe with a luxurious texture that coats the palate, the signature of an outstanding Chardonnay. The Pinot noir and Meunier grapes from the Vallée de la Marne complete the wine’s broad, luscious, smooth and juicy character. The finish is energetic and fresh.
