“This is a fragrant Syrah redolent of blackcurrants, green olives and violets. It’s a vibrant, concentrated wine that’s lipsmacking with fresh black-cherry flavors etched with herbs and smoke. An immediately enjoyable yet complex wine wrapped up in layers of fine, silky tannins.”

“A Syrah-dominant blend augmented by Grenache, this perfumed Côtes du Rhône is redolent of violets and blueberries. While luscious in concentration, it’s brightly balanced in acidity too, offsetting flavors of black plum and blackberry with twists of sour-cherry acidity. A supple wine with chalky, persistent tannins that’s ready to drink now.”

“While the nose of this textbook Marsanne opens with delicate whiffs of quince and apple, it builds on the palate with rich, creamy swirls of banana cream and lemon custard. Touches of garrigue and bitter almond lend savoriness. A plump, powerfully concentrated wine with a soft, sunny acidic balance, it’s still far from peak. Allow time for a long decant if approaching young.”

“Boasts a beautiful core of fleshy white fruit and red currant, with mineral density and concentration on the palate. Richly textured and pure, with nice range to the dried hay, fresh chive, citrus pith and jasmine elements. Reveals a bitter quinine note, which brings focus to the long, harmonious finish. Mourvèdre, Cinsault and Grenache. Drink now through 2027.”

“Lots of focused tannins and dark fruits such as cherries and strawberries. Hibiscus. Very clear and precise. Full to medium body. Very fine and clean tannins. Orange peel. Linear and racy finish.”
