“Lovely aromas of strawberry tart with dried peach and some cotton candy. Full-bodied, layered and attractive tension and creaminess. Nice fruit at the end but always fresh. Shows some finesse.”

“A savory version, displaying macerated cherry and currant fruit aligned with eucalyptus, rosemary and earth flavors. Dense and lively, ending with a solid grip of tannins. Fresh and on the austere side. Best from 2026 through 2042.”

“A well-crafted red, with bitter cherry and plum coursing alongside earthy undertones of licorice root and singed alder. Fresh and vivid, with black pepper, anise and menthol lining the mesquite-kissed finish. Syrah and Grenache. Drink now.”

An inviting red, offering ripe plum, cherry, earth, eucalyptus, iron and tobacco flavors. Turns denser and slightly chewy on the finish, where earth and vegetal elements echo. All the components are here, so be patient. Best from 2027 through 2047.

“From a beautifully located estate in the Douro Superior, this was shared with friends on my birthday in July last year, and it's a perfect summer Port: russet tawny with rich, ripe aromas and a backdrop of spicy caramel. Still fruit-driven on the palate, there's soft, ripe summer fruit and a lovely mellow texture spiced with a dusting of tannins, leading to a rich, voluptuous finish. Serve cool but don’t overchill.”
